Privacy Policy
Learning Land is a learning game for young children. This page explains what happens to information when someone plays it.
We don't collect personal information
The game has no accounts, no sign-up and no chat, and it never asks a child for a name, email, photo or location. Stars, levels and scores are saved only in the browser on your own device, and are never sent to us. You can erase them at any time from the parent page ("Reset all progress") or by clearing the browser's site data.
Voice
Questions are read aloud by the voice built into your device's browser. The game doesn't use the microphone.
Advertising
To keep the game free, the published website shows ads from Google AdSense on the menu and results screens. Ads never appear while a question is on screen or on the parent pages. Every ad request is marked as directed to children under the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), so Google turns off interest-based (personalized) ads and remarketing for these ads. Google may still use cookies or similar technology to show ads, limit how often an ad appears, and prevent fraud. You can learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. No ads load when the game is played offline from a downloaded copy.
Parents
The parent page is behind a grown-ups-only math question. It shows your child's progress, which is stored on your device only.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page.
